Job Description
The New Distribution System Technology and Safety Research Team of Wuhan University, relying on the National Key Laboratory of Power Grid Environmental Protection (co-built), is led by Professor Dong Xuzhu, the current dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Wuhan University. The team currently has 6 teachers, including 4 professors and 2 associate professors, and over 50 master's and doctoral students.
The team has a complete set of scientific research facilities and platforms, including the leading RTDS + RT-lab distribution simulation center in China. It has successively undertaken or participated in more than 60 national, provincial and ministerial-level and enterprise cooperation scientific research projects, with an annual contract value of over 30 million yuan. It has established long-term and stable scientific research cooperation with well-known research institutions and universities such as State Grid, China Southern Power Grid, Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the United States, University of Tennessee, and Aalborg University in Denmark.
I. Recruitment Directions
Novel distribution and microgrid operation and control; Networking control and stability analysis of power electronic converters; New flexible distribution equipment.
II. Job Requirements
A doctoral degree or above in power systems, power electronics or related fields is required. Candidates should have a passion for scientific research, a tenacious and enterprising spirit, good academic ethics and a strong sense of teamwork. They should be capable of independently conducting and completing the research tasks assigned by the cooperative supervisor. A complete promotion system and broad development space are available.
III. Salary and Benefits
The salary will be determined based on the individual's research experience in the relevant field and the regulations for postdoctoral management, with an annual income starting from 300,000 yuan (before tax, including the university's stipend and the supervisor's bonus). For exceptionally outstanding candidates, the specific salary and benefits will be negotiated.
