Postdoctoral Researcher Recruitment Notice from Professor Li Guohong's Research Group at the School of Life Sciences, Wuhan University

Professor Li Guohong's research group from the School of Life Sciences at Wuhan University has long been engaged in biological research on chromatin higher-order structure and epigenetic regulation, mainly including three research directions: (1) Chromatin higher-order structure (30-nm chromatin fiber and heterochromatin) and its epigenetic regulatory mechanisms; (2) Chromatin structural variations and human diseases; (3) Centromeric chromatin and artificial chromosome construction. The research results have been published in academic journals such as Science (2014, 2023), Nature (2020), Nature Cell Biology (2020), Molecular Cell (2016, 2018, 2023, 2024), Genes & Development (2013, 2015), Developmental Cell (2015), Cell Research (2020), Cell Reports (2020, 2021), and Nucleic Acids Research (2020, 2022). Due to work requirements, the group plans to recruit two postdoctoral researchers in the above-mentioned directions (1) and (2).

I. Application Requirements

Candidates should have a doctoral degree in the fields of neurobiology, immunology, and cell biology, with no more than 3 years since graduation and no more than 35 years old.

2. Enthusiastic about scientific research, with a good sense of teamwork, as well as strong dedication and innovative consciousness.

3. Be capable of working independently, possess strong language expression and communication skills, have a good command of English, and be competent in writing and communicating in English for academic papers.

4. The ability to independently undertake and carry out scientific research projects, and actively apply for various postdoctoral and national funds.
