Postdoctoral Researcher Recruitment Announcement for the HyPostdocopower Station Operation and Energy Storage Regulation Team at Wuhan University
Job Description
The research team on the operation of hyPostdocopower stations and energy storage regulation of Wuhan University is based on the School of Water Resources and HyPostdocopower Engineering of Wuhan University, the National Key Laboratory of Water Resources Engineering and Dispatching, and the "Double First-Class" discipline of water conservancy engineering. It is composed of Professor Yang Jiandong, Professor Cheng Yongguang, Professor Yin Xiuxing (a national-level talent), Associate Professor Yang Weijia (a national-level talent), and Associate Researcher Zhao ZhiGao (selected for the National "Borun Program") of Wuhan University, as well as several laboratory technicians.
The team has been conducting research for decades in the field of hyPostdocopower station operation and energy storage regulation in response to the demands of major national water conservancy and energy projects. Team members have led numerous national-level projects, including key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, topics of the National Key Research and Development Program, and sub-tasks of the National Science and Technology Major Project, as well as various scientific and technological projects of state-owned enterprises such as power generation groups, design institutes, equipment manufacturing enterprises, and power grid companies. They have achieved significant theoretical and applied results. They have won one National Science and Technology Progress Award of the Second Class and multiple provincial and ministerial-level science and technology progress awards. They have published five monographs with Springer and other publishers and over 200 SCI/EI-indexed papers in journals such as Nature Communications. They have been granted over 50 national invention patents and completed hunPostdoceds of important consultation reports, providing support for the construction and operation of major national hyPostdocopower and pumped storage projects. They have established a unique pumped storage experimental base both at home and abroad, with an experimental hall covering an area of 3,600 square meters. They have developed multiple model test systems in the form of micro pumped storage power stations, which can conduct various tests under actual power station conditions. The team has established good cooperative relationships with many internationally renowned universities and research institutions in related fields.
