I. Team Introduction

Jiang Jiawei is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Computer Science, Wuhan University. His research focuses on data mining, databases, machine learning systems, graph computing, and federated learning. He has published over 50 CCF A-class papers and has led several research projects, including a key research and development project of the National Science and Technology Major Project, a general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a key research and development project of Hubei Province, and a CCF-Ant Financial Research Fund project. He has received multiple academic awards, such as the CCF Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award and the ACM China Rising Star Nomination. His students have won first prizes in the China Postgraduate Artificial Intelligence Innovation Competition, the National Undergraduate Computer System Design Competition, and the Citibank Cup Financial Innovation Application Competition, among others.

II. Research Directions

The main research directions of this team include but are not limited to: data mining, databases, machine learning systems, graph computing, federated learning, etc.

III. Application Requirements

Applicants must possess excellent ideological and political qualities and professional ethics, uphold a rigorous scientific attitude, love their jobs, and be diligent and dedicated.

2. Applicants should have obtained (within the last three years) or be about to obtain a doctoral degree in a relevant field, and generally be no more than 35 years old.

3. Possess solid academic and research capabilities in the relevant field, having published academic papers in well-known journals or conferences in the field, and have good English writing skills.

4. Be capable of independently conducting research projects under the guidance of the cooperative supervisor, possess a spirit of teamwork, and meet the relevant requirements for postdoctoral management at Wuhan University.

IV. Job Benefits

The annual salary for general applicants is 250,000 to 300,000 yuan (before tax, including the part from the research group). For those with outstanding academic achievements, the salary can be further negotiated. We will also recommend them to apply for key-funded postdoctoral positions and Wuhan University's "Hongyi Postdoctoral" program (with an annual salary of 300,000 yuan from the university and additional funding from the research group, for details see: https://rsb.whu.edu.cn/info/1182/28151.htm). They can also apply for various postdoctoral project funds from the state, Hubei Province, and Wuhan City. The research group will provide additional allowances based on research achievements.

2. The research group will provide sufficient project funds and computing power, and actively support applications for national-level postdoctoral innovation talent support programs, National Natural Science Foundation for Young Scholars, and postdoctoral funds, etc.

During the period of stationing, one can apply for the associate senior position qualification of Wuhan University. If one meets the university's talent introduction policy and fulfills the requirements for leaving the station, one can apply for a teaching position at the university.
