Located on the East Campus of Shihezi University, the School of Economics and Management traces its roots back to the "Agricultural Economy Teaching and Research Section" of the Corps College of Agriculture founded in 1960. Currently, the school offers 12 undergraduate programs, including Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, International Economy and Trade, Finance, Digital Economy, Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing, Human Resource Management, and Tourism Management. It boasts 4 national first-class professional construction sites, 2 Corps first-class professional construction sites, 1 national-level characteristic major, 2 national-level excellent courses, 1 national-level resource platform sharing course, and 1 national-level offline first-class course. Its teaching and research achievements have won the second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, and the third prizes of the 8th and 9th Outstanding Achievements in Scientific Research in Institutions of Higher Education (Humanities and Social Sciences).

At present, the school has established a disciplinary layout featuring "two-wheel drive" of doctoral (master’s) degree authorization points in two first-level disciplines—Business Administration and Applied Economics; "joint efforts" of 10 professional master’s degree authorization points, including Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Applied Statistics, Public Administration, International Business, Business Administration, Master of Agriculture (Rural Development), Tourism Management, and Digital Economy; and "dual-station energy storage" of two postdoctoral research stations in Business Administration and Applied Economics.

#### 【Postdoctoral Research Station of Business Administration】

Focusing on research directions such as Financial Management, Enterprise Management, Accounting, Human Resource Management, and Technical Economy and Management, the station aims to cultivate core research talents in business administration who "keep up with academic frontiers, meet industry needs, respond to regional strategies, and dedicate themselves to innovative development." It has 7 provincial and ministerial-level research platforms, including the "Research Center for Corporate Governance and Management Innovation." Among its research teams, 5 members have been selected into national talent programs, and 9 into provincial and ministerial-level talent programs. The station is committed to becoming an important research force with distinctive research characteristics, a capable academic team, outstanding research achievements, excellent service capabilities, and contributions to disciplinary development.

#### 【Postdoctoral Research Station of Applied Economics】

Focusing on Regional Economics, Industrial Economics, International Trade, Finance, and Agricultural Economics, the station is dedicated to cultivating core research talents in applied economics who serve national strategies and major regional needs, and support the high-quality economic and social development of Xinjiang (the Corps). It has 8 national and provincial key research bases, such as the "Corps Reclamation Economy Research Center" and "Xinjiang (Corps) Rural Revitalization Research Center." Among its research teams, 3 members have been selected into national talent programs, and 10 into provincial and ministerial-level talent programs. The station strives to become an important research force with distinctive regional characteristics, a solid research foundation, a favorable research environment, and rich academic resources.

### 【Recruitment Notice】

The postdoctoral research stations are publicly recruiting postdoctoral researchers in Business Administration and Applied Economics for 2025. The recruitment details are as follows:

#### I. Basic Qualifications

1. Hold Chinese nationality (including residents of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions of China), uphold the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China, abide by national laws and regulations, adhere to correct political orientation, academic orientation, and value orientation, and maintain integrity.

2. Aged 35 or below.

3. Hold a doctoral degree with relevant academic background, demonstrate strong research potential and work performance, have no records of scientific research misconduct, be able to meet the needs of professional research, and be in good health.

#### IV. Duration and Benefits During the Station Period

1. The duration of postdoctoral research is generally 2 years. Those who meet the requirements for leaving the station upon expiration shall go through the formalities in accordance with normal procedures. Those who fail to complete their duties within the specified period shall submit a written application for extension two months before the normal departure time. After being approved by the supervisor, the college, and the postdoctoral station, the application shall be submitted to the university’s Postdoctoral Management Office for approval. The extension period shall not exceed 12 months.

2. During the station period, the personnel and organizational relations of postdoctoral researchers shall be included in the personnel management of the college. The daily funds for postdoctoral researchers shall be allocated by the state according to the corresponding funding standards. Before leaving the station, postdoctoral researchers can apply for research performance evaluation and funding, and the state will provide one-time funding on a competitive basis. The college will provide supporting research funding for postdoctoral innovation projects not lower than the national funding standard and arrange independent postdoctoral apartments.

3. Daily funds shall rely on the research institute and the supervisor’s project funds, with standards referring to national funding standards.

4. Postdoctoral researchers will be provided with office space during the station period. They will be supported in applying for social science funds and postdoctoral funds. The postdoctoral station will hold postdoctoral forums and research activities.
