Recruitment Announcement for Full-time Postdoctoral Researchers in Theoretical Economics of Xinjiang University for the 2023-2024 Academic Year

The Postdoctoral Research Station of Theoretical Economics at Xinjiang University is the earliest and currently the only postdoctoral research station of theoretical economics in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It has recruited a total of 50 postdoctoral researchers. The discipline of theoretical economics under which it operates was rated "B-" in the 4th round of national discipline evaluation. Its "Population, Resources and Environmental Economics" is a national key discipline (cultivation). It was awarded the title of "Excellent Postdoctoral Research Station of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region" in 2007 and 2011. ### I. Recruitment Requirements

1. Implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, have a strong sense of professionalism and dedication, abide by laws and regulations, have high moral standards, and maintain integrity in academic pursuits.

2. Those who have obtained a doctoral degree or doctoral students who can successfully complete their doctoral dissertation defense within half a year, and can engage in full-time postdoctoral research work.

3. Have strong scientific research capabilities, the ability to analyze and solve problems, and the ability to write academic papers.

4. Be excellent in character and learning, in good health, have a good team spirit, and be under 38 years old.

### II. Recruitment Majors

1. Recruited majors: Economics, Management, Statistics.

2. Research fields: Major theoretical and practical issues in China's economic development. Focus on directions such as high-quality economic development, the "dual-carbon" strategy, the "Belt and Road" initiative, green and low-carbon industrial transformation, energy and environmental economics, etc.

### III. Job Responsibilities

1. Carry out research/industrialization work in fields related to the above directions and interdisciplinary fields.

2. Publish high-quality academic papers.

3. Actively participate in research projects of the School of Economics and Management of Xinjiang University and the postdoctoral research station.

4. Assist in applying for scientific research projects and promote industry-university-research integration.

5. Complete other scientific research work assigned by the college and the station.

### IV. Treatment Standards

The salary of full-time postdoctoral researchers consists of basic treatment and performance.

1. Basic treatment is 150,000 yuan/year, including the basic salary stipulated by the state (4,300 yuan/month) and allowance (8,000 yuan/month).

2. For performance payment, the postdoctoral research station formulates discipline distribution methods and standards in combination with the actual situation of the discipline, and the performance standard does not exceed the basic treatment standard.

3. Postdoctoral researchers shall carry out scientific research through project application after entering the station.

4. Full-time postdoctoral researchers who have been in the station for more than one year and meet the conditions for the evaluation of professional titles in the school's teacher series can apply for the corresponding professional title in the school.

5. Accommodation for full-time postdoctoral researchers shall be implemented in accordance with the accommodation standards and regulations for doctoral students in the university.

6. Vigorously support the application for the "Boxin Program", and the application for scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Postdoctoral Science Foundation.

### V. Salary Payment Methods

1. The performance of full-time postdoctoral researchers is assessed annually, and the assessment results serve as the basis for salary payment. If the assessment result is qualified or above, the basic treatment will be paid normally on a monthly basis; if the assessment result is below qualified, the allowance in the basic treatment will be temporarily not paid, and will be paid in a lump sum after completing the target tasks in the expiry assessment.

2. The performance payment of the postdoctoral research station shall be implemented in accordance with the performance payment method of the School of Economics and Management of Xinjiang University.
