The College of Mathematics and System Sciences of Xinjiang University was founded in 1950 and is one of the colleges with the longest history at Xinjiang University. Under the meticulous cultivation of veteran educators such as Mr. Chen Dehuang and Mr. Wang Zengyi, and through the continuous efforts and inheritance of several generations, the college has achieved considerable development. In 2019, the college was awarded the honorary title of "National Advanced Collective in Education System".

The college has a first-level doctoral program and a master's program in mathematics, a first-level master's program in statistics, and a professional master's program in applied statistics. It boasts a national key discipline of "Applied Mathematics", an autonomous region key discipline of "Basic Mathematics", an autonomous region "14th Five-Year Plan" dominant discipline of "Mathematics", and a national base for training talents in basic scientific research and teaching of science. It also has 1 Ministry of Education Innovation Team, 4 Autonomous Region Innovation Teams; 4 first-class undergraduate majors: Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (national level), Statistics (national level), Information and Computing Science (provincial level), Data Science and Big Data Technology (university level). In addition, there are a postdoctoral research station in mathematics, a "111 Plan" discipline innovation and intelligence introduction base for "Mathematics and Applied Mathematics", an Academician Collaborative Innovation Center (awarded by the Autonomous Region Association for Science and Technology), the Xinjiang Key Laboratory of Applied Mathematics, and the Xinjiang Mathematics Popularization Base (awarded by the Chinese Mathematical Society), etc.

The college currently has 27 professors, 45 associate professors, 40 doctoral supervisors (including 20 part-time ones), 86 master supervisors, 4 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, 7 Tianchi Distinguished Professors, 4 Tianshan Scholars Distinguished Professors, 2 visiting professors, and 92 teachers with doctoral degrees.

The college offers four undergraduate majors: "Mathematics and Applied Mathematics" (including the National Mathematics Science Base Class), "Information and Computing Science", "Statistics", and "Data Science and Big Data Technology", forming a high-level talent training system covering undergraduate, master, doctoral and postdoctoral education.

I. Postdoctoral Recruitment Conditions and Targets

(A) Basic Conditions

1.
