Job Description

The State Key Laboratory of Precision Measuring Technology and Instruments (Tianjin University, Tsinghua University) traces its origin to the State Key Laboratory of Precision Measuring Technology and Instruments established in 1995. It has pioneered new research directions such as industrial vision precision measurement and integrated microsystem precision measurement. Its research achievements have supported important projects including the manufacturing of various major equipment, the research and development of new aerospace products, the construction of the Beidou system, the technological upgrading of intelligent automobile manufacturing, and safety monitoring in the petroleum industry.

In 2022, the laboratory was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China for restructuring and development. Centering on the national strategies of "Manufacturing Powerhouse" and "Quality Powerhouse", and focusing on the growing demand for precision measurement in the context of intelligent manufacturing, it proposes original new concepts, principles, and methods for digital, networked, and intelligent precision measurement technologies. It conducts research on precision measurement instruments and systems for high-end equipment digital manufacturing, multi-parameter online measurement technologies and instruments for extreme service conditions, core components of instruments, and near-limit measurement technologies. It aims to foster major original innovations, build a fully independent intellectual property system, and become a source of high-end instrument science and technology for precision measurement with important engineering backgrounds and distinct technical characteristics.

To meet the rapid development of the laboratory, the first batch of postdoctoral recruitment needs for 2025 is announced as follows:

### I. Recruitment Positions and Number of Vacancies

2 full-time postdoctoral researchers (1 for each research project)

### II. Job Responsibilities

1. Work on the project "Research on Electrostatically Driven MEMS Micromirror Technology": Focusing on the field of intelligent sensing and optical communication, concentrating on the design of high-frequency response and large-angle electrostatically driven MEMS micromirrors, and developing uniaxial unidirectional and uniaxial bidirectional deflecting MEMS micromirrors to serve as core chips for optical attenuators in optical flux adjustment modules in optical fiber communication.

2. Work on the project "Robot Flexible High-Resolution Tactile Sensors": Develop a new type of robot flexible high-resolution tactile sensor with high sensitivity, high spatial resolution, good flexibility, and durability. By optimizing the sensor's structural design, material selection, and signal processing algorithms, achieve accurate perception and analysis of various tactile information, including accurate identification of texture features on the surface of objects with different textures, precise measurement of the magnitude and distribution of pressure applied to the sensor surface, and maintaining stable and reliable performance under complex bending deformation conditions, so as to provide accurate and effective tactile support for robots in fine operations and complex environmental interactions.

3. Actively participate in discipline construction and laboratory development affairs.

### III. Recruitment Requirements

1. Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, be in good physical and mental health, and have good ideological and moral qualities and moral cultivation;

2. Possess scientific research capabilities and academic potential in the relevant fields of the above-mentioned projects, and be able to actively and fully participate in various construction and operation work of the State Key Laboratory;

3. Generally, age should not exceed 35 years old;

4. Have obtained or be about to obtain a doctoral degree;

5. Be able to engage in postdoctoral research work full-time;

6. Meet other relevant recruitment regulations of the country and the university.

### IV. Benefits and Guarantees

1. Salary stacking: Implemented in accordance with the salary system of Tianjin University. The university provides a competitive basic salary, and postdoctoral researchers can also enjoy various postdoctoral grants from the state and Tianjin Municipality;

2. Support for applying for scientific research projects such as the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as various national-level young talent projects and the National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition;

3. Enjoy the university's medical treatment and trade union welfare, be provided with social insurance and housing provident fund, and children can attend high-quality affiliated kindergartens, primary schools, and middle schools.

### V. Career Development

1. After completing two years of postdoctoral work, candidates can compete for tenure-track positions such as "Talent Associate Professor" or contractual positions such as "Associate Researcher";

2. A green channel for staying at the university is provided. Outstanding postdoctoral researchers selected for some national funding programs, who have completed the funding period and meet the requirements for exiting the postdoctoral station, can be directly transferred to the contractual "Associate Researcher" position upon recommendation by the unit;

3. Those who are not appointed to the above positions upon the expiration of the contract can apply for full-time research positions to continue working at the university.
