Job Description

Professor Yang Fangxu from the School of Science, Tianjin University, relying on the State Key Laboratory of Intelligent Sensing Functional Materials (Executive Director: Professor Hu Wenping) and the Tianjin Key Laboratory of Molecular Optoelectronic Science, sincerely invites outstanding young talents to join the team and jointly carry out innovative research in the following directions: (1) Research on the controlled growth, physical properties and integrated applications of large-size single crystal materials of organic semiconductors; (2) High-energy particle/radiation detection and imaging; (3) Implantable flexible optoelectronic sensors; (4) Development of optoelectronic devices based on new principles. Young scholars with strong research interests and solid scientific research foundations in the fields of crystal chemistry and engineering, optoelectronic materials and devices, high-energy detection technology, and flexible electronics are warmly welcome to join us to jointly promote the development of related disciplines and technological innovation. ### I. Team Introduction Yang Fangxu is a Distinguished Professor and doctoral supervisor of Tianjin University, and a national-level young talent. He graduated from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in June 2016 with a Doctor of Science degree, studying under Professor Hu Wenping. From July 2016 to August 2019, he conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Chemistry, Tianjin University, with Professor Hu Wenping as his cooperative supervisor. He served as an associate professor at Tianjin University from September 2019 to June 2023, was promoted to professor from July 2023 to February 2024, and has been a Distinguished Professor at Tianjin University since March 2024. He has long been engaged in research on organic semiconductor molecular crystal materials and devices, high-energy particle/radiation detection and imaging, implantable flexible optoelectronic sensors, and new-principle optoelectronic devices. He has published 26 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author, including 7 in *Adv. Mater.*, as well as in *Matter*, *Adv. Funct. Mater.*, and 2 in *SmartMat*. Among them, 3 papers have been selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers, with a total of more than 4,000 citations, an H-index of 26, and a maximum of 770 citations for a single paper. Four papers have been selected as covers of *Adv. Mater.*. He has successively presided over projects such as the Young Scientists Project of the Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, General Program and Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and General Program and Special Funding Program of the Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
