Job Description
I. Introduction of the Human Resources Team
The Wearable Robot Laboratory conducts interdisciplinary research in wearable robots, bio-electromechanical systems, flexible sensors, neural function reconstruction, human-machine interaction, and neuromuscular control. Key innovations include the "sensing-integration-control" theory for rehabilitation, multimodal signal fusion methods, and human-in-the-loop collaborative control. Applications include haptic rehabilitation robots, exoskeletons, intelligent prostheses, and flexible wearable sensors.
Project Team Leader:
Prof. Li Zhijun, Ph.D., IEEE Fellow, AAIA Fellow, Dean of Tongji University’s School of Mechanical and Energy Engineering. Published 400+ SCI/EI papers (H-index 81), authored 3 English monographs, and holds 100+ patents. Recipient of 10+ awards including the First Prize of Natural Science (Ministry of Education) and IEEE Outstanding Paper Awards. Senior Editor for IEEE Trans. Automation Science and Engineering and Associate Editor for multiple IEEE journals.
II. Job Positions and Specific Requirements
Position: Postdoctoral Fellow in Medicine-Engineering Interdisciplinary Field (2–3 openings)
Requirements:
• Ph.D. obtained within last 2 years in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience; strong English proficiency.
• Passion for research, teamwork skills, and ability to publish high-level papers.
• Priority for candidates with expertise in wearable robots, rehabilitation systems, or flexible electronics.
Remuneration:
• Annual salary: ≥300,000 RMB.
