Brief Introduction of the Collaborative Supervisor

Professor Masahiro Maehara, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World, is a professor at Fudan University. His research focuses on systematic studies of the chemistry of dienes and their analogues. With a core focus on chemical innovation, he conducts innovative drug research for major diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, and studies the interaction patterns between active molecules and biological macromolecules. To date, he has published over 500 high-quality academic papers in journals such as Science, Nat. Chem., Nat. Catal., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and Nat. Commun. He particularly encourages young researchers to engage in interdisciplinary exploration.

III. Job Requirements

We're looking for candidates who:

1. Have obtained or are about to obtain a doctoral degree in related fields such as medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, basic medicine, or biomedical science, and possess a solid foundation of professional knowledge.
2. Are diligent and eager to learn, with a strong aspiration for and passion in scientific research, excellent teamwork skills, and a strong drive for progress.
3. Possess good writing and expression skills in both Chinese and English. We encourage and support applications for various projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Postdoctoral Science Foundation.

IV. Position Benefits and Incentives

Our postdoctoral positions offer:

• A basic annual salary of no less than 200,000 yuan. For "Super Postdoctoral Fellow" positions, the annual salary ranges from 230,000 to 500,000 yuan.
• Sufficient research funds and access to first-class research equipment platforms to support applications for various national and Shanghai-based research projects and talent funds.
• Assistance with the application for Shanghai household registration.
• The opportunity to reside in a Fudan University postdoctoral apartment (subject to regulations). Matters concerning household registration and children's enrollment in schools and daycare centers will be handled in accordance with the relevant policies of the university and Shanghai Municipality.
• Provision of all social insurances and housing provident funds in accordance with Fudan University's regulations.

Those who perform outstandingly during their postdoctoral period will be given priority for recommendation to stay and work at the university.
