Job Description
I. Introduction to the Institute and Laboratory
The Institute of Brain-inspired Intelligence at Fudan University focuses on the intersection of brain science and intelligent technology, dedicated to research in brain-computer interface technology, neuroimaging, and precise diagnosis and treatment of brain diseases. The laboratory, centered on stroke and neurodegenerative diseases, integrates the development of high-throughput brain-computer interface electrodes, multimodal calcium imaging technology, and neurobehavioral analysis, aiming to innovate in the clinical application of brain-computer interfaces and intelligent diagnosis and treatment technologies.
II. Postdoctoral Position Requirements
Recruitment Plan:
Due to research needs, we are now sincerely recruiting 2-3 postdoctoral researchers at home and abroad. The research direction focuses on neural repair after stroke and the development of brain-computer interface technology.
Research Direction Requirements:
1. Development of Stroke-targeted Brain-Computer Interface Electrodes (Optimizing the Collection of Brain Region-specific Signals after Stroke, Coupled with Vascular Regeneration)
2. Multimodal optogenetics, calcium imaging and neural decoding
3. Neurovascular Repair and Intervention for Stroke
Application Requirements:
Have obtained or are about to obtain a doctoral degree in biomedical engineering, neuroscience, materials science, electronic engineering or related fields;
Have published no less than 2 papers in SCI first-tier journals as the first author.
Those with the following relevant backgrounds are preferred:
1. Stroke animal models and behavioral studies: Proficient in the construction of MCAO or photothrombosis models, neurological function scoring (mNSS, Rotarod test), and infarct volume analysis (TTC staining/MRI).
2. Bioluminescence and imaging techniques: Experience in two-photon in vivo imaging, fiber optic recording (fiber photometry), or the application of bioluminescence/fluorescence probes (GCaMP6s, tdTomato).
3. Signal Processing and Algorithm Development: Proficient in Python/Matlab for EEG signal decoding, spatiotemporal analysis of calcium signals (CNMF-E algorithm), or construction of machine learning models (LSTM for predicting stroke prognosis).
4. Electrophysiology and Molecular Biology: Proficient in stereotactic injection or molecular pathway research techniques (Western blot, qPCR, immunofluorescence co-localization).

Compensation and benefits
Annual salary: 250,000 - 400,000 RMB, negotiable based on individual circumstances. Welcome to submit your resume for consultation.
