In the first half of 2025, Xixian New Area and Xi'an Jiaotong University will jointly recruit postdoctoral fellows

Xixian New Area is the first national-level new area approved by the State Council with the theme of innovative urban development. It has been given the strategic position of building "an important fulcrum of the Silk Road Economic Belt; an important hub for China's opening to the west, a new engine for the development of the western region and an example of new urbanization with Chinese characteristics". According to the development needs of the new area and in accordance with the arrangement of the "Pilot Program for the Co-introduction and Co-cultivation of High-end Talents of Small and Medium-sized Technology-based Enterprises in the Postdoctoral Innovation Base of Xixian New Area", Xixian New Area and Xi'an Jiaotong University are openly recruiting postdoctoral researchers. The recruitment of postdoctoral fellows in the first half of 2025 is hereby announced as follows:

一. Registration time

March 17–April 17, 2025

二. Enrollment conditions

1. Those who have obtained a doctoral degree and have not graduated for more than 2 years in principle; or graduate before July 2025 and obtain a degree.

2. Be in good health, under the age of 35, and be able to engage in postdoctoral research full-time.

3. Have strong scientific research innovation ability, be very professional, have strong independent work and teamwork ability, and be able to carry out postdoctoral research work efficiently.

4. Under the same conditions, those who have project research experience related to Xixian New Area and development zone or those who participate in specific scientific research projects are preferred.

三． Recruit majors and research directions

This time, we plan to recruit 3 postdoctoral fellows. According to the professional direction, the pilot high-tech enterprises will be dispatched to engage in scientific and technological research and development for a period of 2 years.

Research direction 1: Responsible for the research and development of energy digital management and application technologies based on distributed new energy power generation, distributed energy storage, new energy vehicles and other application scenarios in large parks, including system construction, model establishment, application demonstration, etc.

Research Direction 2: Track the scientific research trends and technical development trends of hydrogen storage technology, and be responsible for the design and development of catalysts, including the innovation and optimization of catalyst composition, structure and preparation process.

Research direction 3: Formulate the medium and long-term development plan of the company's stem cell core technology, lead the transformation of key technologies from laboratory research to preclinical development, coordinate pharmacological and toxicological evaluation, animal model validation, R&D application data writing, and promote clinical research projects in cooperation with medical institutions.

4. Abstract of doctoral dissertation (Chinese version).

5. 2 representative works such as policy reports, academic papers and monographs (Chinese version).

6. Proof of scientific research achievement award (if it is a collective achievement, please indicate the team information and individual contribution in detail).

7. Scanned copy of doctoral degree certificate.

8. Returnees should provide the "Recommendation of the Education Department (Group) of the Embassies and Consulates of the People's Republic of China Abroad" or the certificate of returnees.

(二) Qualification review

According to the materials provided by the applicant, the relevant units and experts of the Innovation Base will assess and evaluate the applicant's ideological and political performance, scientific research ability, academic level and scientific research achievements obtained, and conduct interviews according to the conditions, and the specific matters will be notified separately. Candidates are responsible for the authenticity and completeness of the information filled in by the candidates, and if it is inconsistent with the facts, the Innovation Base has the right to cancel the employment qualification.

(三) Personnel recruitment

After the comprehensive evaluation of the innovation base and relevant units, the candidates will be determined and the tripartite joint training agreement will be signed.
