Nankai University 2025 Postdoctoral Recruitment Announcement (valid all year round)

一． Introduction

Nankai University, located in Tianjin, China, on the shores of the Bohai Sea, is one of the most famous and outstanding universities in China. As one of the first units in China to set up postdoctoral research stations, Nankai University has set up 33 postdoctoral research stations, covering all professional directions and research fields of the university. Each station has a group of top cooperative mentor teams mainly composed of academicians, high-level talents, and young outstanding talents.

Postdoctoral fellowship is an important part of the construction of the school's young talent echelon, and Nankai University has always regarded it as an important source of faculty for training. At present, nearly 100 outstanding postdoctoral fellows have been recruited for teaching and research (high associate) positions and have entered the formal teacher series. A number of outstanding postdoctoral fellows have been selected as the national "Four Youths" and are rapidly growing into discipline leaders and academic backbones.

二． Enrollment disciplines and conditions

(一) Enrollment disciplines

Chinese language, Chinese Literature, Chinese History, World History, Archaeology, Law, Philosophy, Foreign Language and Literature, Sociology, Political Science, Public Administration, Marxist Theory, Theoretical Economics, Applied Economics, Business Administration, Management Science and Engineering, Information Resources Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Plant Protection, Materials Science and Engineering, Environmental Science and Engineering, Ecology, Biology, Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine, Optical Engineering, Electronic Science and Technology, Computer Science and Technology, Control Science and Engineering, Software Engineering, Cyberspace Security etc. (see Part VII for postdoctoral mobile stations and contact information of various professional colleges).

(二) Enrollment conditions

1. Abide by professional and academic ethics, academic norms and academic, and have commendable study habits.

2. Generally under the age of 35 (inclusive); the doctoral degree should generally be not more than 3 years old.

3. Obtained doctoral degree either at home or abroad, have a high academic level, the ability to undertake national scientific research projects, and have the development potential to become a full-time teacher of the school.

三． Remuneration

(一) Basic salary

The salary of postdoctoral fellows in the university is based on an annual salary system, and the total pre-tax salary is not less than 200,000 yuan/year (including housing subsidy). The college can also add a package, and there is no upper limit. The total salary of outstanding postdoctoral fellows in some schools has reached 400,000 yuan/year. Please consult each professional college for the supporting plan.

(二) Funding by the state and Tianjin Municipality

Outstanding doctoral graduates are welcome to rely on Nankai University to apply for various postdoctoral funding projects of the state and Tianjin, and the school will pay the salary of the postdoctoral supporting schools according to the selected grades:

1. For those who are selected for the "Boxin Program" (Grade A of the State-funded Postdoctoral Program), the salary of the school and the state funding shall be fully accumulated, and the total salary shall not be less than 1.04 million yuan (including daily funds and scientific research funds) during the two-year funding period.

2. For those who are selected for the B level of the state-funded postdoctoral program, the total salary of the school and the state-funded will not be less than 660,000 yuan during the two-year funding period.

3. For those who are selected for the C-level of the state-funded postdoctoral program, the total salary of the school and the state-fund shall not be less than 540,000 yuan during the two year period.

4. Selected into the joint funding projects of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and Tianjin, as well as the "postdoctoral innovation position" in Tianjin, the total salary of the university and the national (Tianjin) funding will not be less than 500,000 yuan during the two-year funding period. If the postdoctoral fellows continue to work in Tianjin after leaving the station, they will continue to receive a subsidy of 200,000 yuan/person from Tianjin, see the "Implementation Measures for the Introduction of Young Talents Project in Tianjin" for details.

5. Support will be provided to outstanding fresh doctoral graduates or postdoctoral fellows who have entered the station to apply for the "Heung Kong Scholars Program", "Macao Young Scholars Program" and "Sino-German Postdoctoral Exchange Program" by relying on Nankai University, and will be able cash out the national funding treatment after being selected.

Heung Kong Scholars Program: HKD 439,200 (about RMB 360,000);

Macao Young Scholars Program: 420,000 patacas (about 360,000 yuan);

Sino-German postdoctoral exchange program: 300,000 RMB for the Chinese side + 1,500 euros per month for the German side.

6. The school adheres to the principle of facing the world's frontiers of science and technology and facing the major needs of the country, attracting outstanding young talents at home and abroad to join the postdoctoral team. In addition to the above projects, for the selected postdoctoral fellows in other key projects, the university's salary will also be accumulated with the implementation of the project funding (for details, please consult the professional colleges and the university's personnel office).

(三) Assessment and rewards

The university implements employment assessment and annual assessment for postdoctoral fellows, and some colleges provide additional annual assessment rewards or employment assessment rewards for postdoctoral fellows based on performance.

(四) Benefits

(五) Enrollment of children in school

There will be provision of high-quality basic education resources and convenient conditions for postdoctoral fellows to enroll their school-age children in nursery school (Nankai University Kindergarten, Nankai University Jinnan Kindergarten) and kindergarten to primary school (Nankai University Affiliated Primary School, Nankai District, Tianjin). Nankai University Kindergarten is located in the Balitai Campus of Nankai University; Jinnan Kindergarten of Nankai University is close to Jinnan Campus of Nankai University; The Primary School Affiliated to Nankai University is close to the Balitai Campus of Nankai University.

(六) Housing benefits

The existing postdoctoral apartments on the Balitai campus provide preferential rental accommodation for postdoctoral fellows. The apartments are located on Baidi Road, Nankai District, Tianjin, surrounded by complete and rich supporting facilities.

Fourth, scientific research support

(一) Application for scientific research funds and projects

The respective institutes will;

1. Support the application for general funding and special funding from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. After winning the award, the general project will provide scientific research funds of 80,000 yuan for natural sciences and 50,000 yuan for social sciences: special funding will provide scientific research funds of 180,000 yuan for natural sciences and 150,000 yuan for social sciences.

2. Support the application of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Social Science Foundation of China, as well as other scientific research projects.

3. Support the application of various national youth talent projects.

4. Support participation in the National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (enjoy national and Tianjin incentives).
