About This Activity

(I) First Impressions of the Two Sessions–My Observations and Curiosities

1. Through which channels such as news, social media, or school sharing did you learn about China's 2026 Two Sessions? What initially sparked your interest in the Two Sessions (e.g., new policies mentioned, topics related to daily life, etc.)?

2. The Two Sessions mentioned key terms such as the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030 development blueprint), intelligent economy (e.g., AI empowering life and work), and investing in people (e.g., ensuring employment and improving education). Which one are you most interested in, and what specific changes do you want to know about it?

3. During your life in China, have you felt any changes brought about by policies? For example, more convenient digital payments, improved urban environment, or simplified administrative procedures. What do you think of these changes?

(II) In-Depth Discussion on Hot Topics–Policy Interpretation and Insights

1. The Two Sessions emphasized advancing the "AI Plus" initiative (e.g., applying AI to manufacturing, services, and other industries) and developing new quality productive forces (e.g., new industries such as new energy and quantum technology). What impacts do you think these will have on China and the world? What inspirations do they bring to your major or future career plans?

2. The Two Sessions stressed "benefiting people's livelihood and promoting consumption," such as improving social security, enhancing public services, and boosting consumption. During your life in China, which aspects of improvement in people's livelihood areas such as education, medical care, transportation, and shopping attract the most attention? Do you have any small suggestions to share?

3. Compared with the policy formulation and release methods in your own country, what new feelings or understandings do you have about China's operational model of the Two Sessions, which focuses on collective discussion and deploying national development?

(III) Sino-Foreign Encounters–Governance Models and Learning

1. The Two Sessions mentioned deepening the comprehensive reform of investment and financing in the capital market (to better support enterprises and innovation) and promoting green development (e.g., energy conservation, carbon reduction, and building zero-carbon industrial parks). What aspects of these policy ideas do you think are referable for other countries?

2. In terms of people's livelihood security (e.g., elderly care, medical care), technological innovation (e.g., supporting new technologies), or youth development (e.g., employment and entrepreneurship support), what distinctive policies does your country have that you think are worth learning from for China?

3. As an international youth in China, what simple and feasible ways do you think can better promote the exchange and learning of policy concepts and development experiences between China and foreign countries?

(IV) New Expectations for the Future–Development Opportunities and Appeals

1. Based on the development signals released by the Two Sessions, such as AI, new energy, future industries, and Sino-foreign economic and trade cooperation, which areas do you think hold new opportunities for cooperation between Chinese and foreign youth?

2. Combining your own experiences, what more convenient optimizations do you hope China will make in supporting international students' employment (e.g., job fairs, policy matching), cultural integration (e.g., cross-cultural activities), and policy services (e.g., visa and social security processing)?

3. As a bridge for Sino-foreign exchanges, what simple and understandable ways will you use to interpret the spirit of China's Two Sessions and the future development blueprint to your relatives and friends in your hometown?
