Postdoctoral researchers can conduct scientific research in these teaching and research institutions. In addition to the basic salary, they can also apply for local postdoctoral fellowships and research projects.
Renmin University of China builds a competitive salary and welfare system and career development platform. The university offers competitive salaries and benefits to postdoctoral researchers. The basic annual salary for "Pioneer Postdoctoral Fellows" is 200,000 yuan, and for research postdoctoral fellows, it is 120,000 yuan. The basic annual salary for postdoctoral fellows at the Shenzhen Research Institute is 120,000 yuan (with an additional 180,000 yuan in matching funds from Shenzhen). For postdoctoral fellows in the research direction of high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the basic annual salary is 120,000 yuan (with an equal amount of matching funds provided by Yibin City as stipulated).
The university encourages outstanding postdoctoral researchers to apply for various national talent programs such as the "National Key Talent Program", "National Postdoctoral Researcher Funding Program", "Cheung Kong Scholars Program", "Macao Young Scholars Program", and "China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Overseas Academic Exchange Program for Postdoctoral Researchers" by leveraging the university's resources. The national funding can be added to the basic annual salary, with the maximum reaching 400,000 yuan per year.
The university supports postdoctoral researchers in applying for the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation General and Special Subsidies, National Natural Science Foundation projects, National Social Science Foundation projects, and various other research projects and the National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition through the university's platforms.
Employers provide diversified financial support and performance rewards based on project conditions and research achievements. The university, in light of actual circumstances, offers postdoctoral researchers apartments, housing subsidies and other welfare benefits.
Postdoctoral researchers who meet the relevant conditions can participate in the open recruitment for teaching and research positions at the university after completing their postdoctoral research, and the university will select and retain the best candidates.
Qualifications for Application
one Age: Generally, it should be under 35 years old.
2. Primary discipline: Generally, it should be across schools or primary disciplines. For those who are exceptionally outstanding, the restriction of entering the same primary discipline postdoctoral research station within the same institution can be moderately relaxed.
In principle, we do not accept employed individuals for postdoctoral research.
4. In addition to meeting the basic requirements for national postdoctoral recruitment, the following conditions should also be met:
Recent doctoral graduates from top domestic and international universities or research institutions, who have obtained their doctoral degrees within no more than three years. For the current year's doctoral graduates applying to enter the station, they must have met the basic requirements for the defense of their doctoral dissertations at the time of application, and in principle, they should obtain their doctoral degree certificates before March 2025.
(2) Possessing a solid academic background and strong research capabilities, having published high-level academic papers in well-known academic journals at home and abroad in the past five years as an independent author, first author or first corresponding author.
(3) Meet other recruitment requirements for the relevant positions of the employer.
Recruitment Process
one Application for Position: Interested applicants should submit their application materials (refer to Attachment 2) to the email of the contact person of the employer before the end of work on November 22, 2024. (The employer fully funds the postdoctoral recruitment, and the position is open for application on a long-term basis.)
2. Departmental Review: Conduct the review and selection in a unified manner as required, and submit the results to the School's Talent Office by December 2, 2024.
3. School Review: The school conducts a review to determine the candidates to be admitted.
4. Station Entry Approval: The proposed recruits must log in to the China Postdoctoral website (http://www.chinapostdoctor.org.cn), and submit the application for station entry through the China Postdoctoral Online Office System, which will be reviewed and approved by the National Postdoctoral Management Committee.
5. Check-in Procedures: After approval, the school will handle the check-in and entry procedures in batches.
