Job Description

1. Introduction of the Center

The China Collaborative Innovation Center for Basic Education Quality Monitoring, founded in July 2012 and officially recognized by the Ministry of Education in October 2014, stands as the nation's sole collaborative innovation center in the fields of education and psychology. It has grown into an authoritative national institution for basic education quality monitoring, a key training base for high-level evaluation talents, and a crucial national platform for basic education quality decision-making support.

Since its inception, the center has consistently carried out national compulsory education quality monitoring. It has spearheaded the development of numerous education quality evaluation guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education, created national monitoring standards and tools across nine disciplines, and developed over 10 intelligent evaluation systems and platforms. The center has been instrumental in building the "four beams and eight pillars" of China's basic education evaluation, annually monitoring thousands of schools and hundreds of thousands of students in thousands of counties nationwide. This work has generated over 1,000 diverse monitoring reports, supporting the establishment of a basic education quality monitoring system in China that is both unique to the country and internationally comparable. Ultimately, the center has played a vital role in promoting the high-quality development of basic education.

With a core focus on education quality monitoring and evaluation, the center has established four distinctive professional directions within its two "Double First-Class" A+ first-level disciplines: Education and Psychology. It has been recruiting master's and doctoral students since 2015, and over the past decade, the center has achieved remarkable results in talent training, discipline construction, and international exchanges.
